As you ladies know when it comes to relationships we all have a different love language there are five of them which are words of affirmation, acts of service, quality time, physical touch, and gifts. Whenever we hear love language we only think about a relationship but, what about ourselves? So instead of discussing relationship love languages I want to talk about self-love languages. Self-love is essential for our mental health it's the key to true love. When it comes to self-love, we love ourselves differently some of you ladies might have two, three or all five self-love languages that you need to apply to your daily life to be at ease. For me, I need all five to be the best version of myself it motivates me to adopt healthy habits and to take care of myself. Here are the five self-love language and some of the actions to take.
Words of Affirmation: Positive self-talk tell yourself you are beautiful, strong, and intelligent.
Acts of Service: Basic needs such as house chores and grocery shopping.
Quality Time: A time for yourself to read a book, go for a walk, watch a movie or do some aromatherapy which has become my favorite thing lately.
Physical Touch: A time where you embrace your body such as going to the gym, doing yoga, or pampering.
Gifts: Invest in yourself, treat yourself, or invest in your hobbies.
