Today I decided to talk about stress because it’s something everyone deals with some more than others. It has been called the silent killer. Stress can lead to heart illness, high blood pressure, chest pains, anxiety, depression, and many more hurtful things to our physical and mental health. We all aware stress is a normal part of life, but too much of it is deadly that's why it's important to STOP and de-stress for a minute.
Last weekend was stressful due to uncomfortable situations. I was so stressed and angry I didn’t think to STOP which stands for Stop, Take a breath, Observe, and Proceed with something that will support you in the moment which resulted in me being overly emotional and depressed. Once I realized what was going on the first thing I decided to do was to take a day off from work to get my 9 hours of sleep to feel refreshed then meditated followed by doing some aromatherapy, exercise, drinking lots of water, and eating healthy and girl! Let me tell you I slowly but surely started to feel better.
Our mental health comes first, before money and people always take care of your health sister it’s very important your body is a temple.
